Brady has served as Executive Producer/showrunner and director of The Great Christmas Light Fight series since its inception in 2013, overseeing all creative and production elements of the successful series, including the development of its format, annual casting, nationwide shooting, short-schedule editing, and social media marketing.
As Senior Producer of the very first U.S. Survivor, Brady worked closely with Mark Burnett and Co-Executive Producer Craig Piligian, supervising the creative elements during the three months of pre-production and 39 days of production on the island of Pulau Tiga in Malaysian Borneo.
After their experience together on Survivor, Mark Burnett asked Brady to direct his epic endurance competition, Eco-Challenge. It was a perfect match with Brady’s interest in large-scale, multi-camera directing.
This ambitious adventure series was Brady’s first Executive Producer/showrunner exploit, along with long-time producing partner Jim Jusko. Fifteen contestants traveled as a group through rugged terrain from Vancouver to the Arctic Circle.
Brady was creator, Executive Producer/showrunner, and director of this international special, where two, everyday people were challenged to prove the popular theory that we are all somehow connected by only ‘six degrees of separation.’
As the Senior Producer for the Los Angeles/Malibu summer of this annual MTV tradition, Brady worked closely with the MTV VJ talent and visiting guests, which included top bands and well-known celebrities.
Brady served as a DGA director on this America’s Funniest Home Videos spin-off. For two seasons he traveled the country, capturing Americans telling jokes, performing skits, doing stunts, and pulling pranks.
Brady traveled the world to remote locations to document extraordinary and dangerous encounters with wildlife. As the Senior Field Producer of the series, he produced over 200 animal stories in Africa, Alaska, Australia, Asia.
Brady was hired as Consulting Executive Producer to develop the format and help hire the showrunner for a new home makeover concept that grew out of Vox’s Curbed, their real estate/home website channel.
Brady and producing partner Jim Jusko were hired as Consulting Executive Producers to develop a new zombie project with Executive Producer Gale Anne Hurd. The hybrid concept (combination of scripted and non-scripted) is in development at AMC.
China’s largest privately-owned media company, LIC China, hired Brady and producing partner Jim Jusko to travel to China to develop, scout, and help pre-produce a large-scale reality project involving the Shaolin monks and the Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng County, Henan province.
In addition to Executive Producing and directing The Great Christmas Light Fight for Fremantle, Brady’s company Base Camp Films (with producing partner Jim Jusko) has enjoyed a multi-year development relationship with Fremantle.
