Brady was brought on as Executive Producer and showrunner for season 2 of the NBC competition series, based on the worldwide athletic brand Spartan. Produced by the production company responsible for American Ninja Warrior, Brady helped enhance the series with larger challenges, new hosts, more identifiable teams, and a new imposing nighttime location.

Season 2 of Spartan: Ultimate Team Challenge kicked off to solid increased ratings over season 1, and helped redefine ambitious team-based competitions for television. Brady now walks the talk by racing himself in Spartan race competitions throughout the year.
