Brady has produced or directed some of television’s most successful franchises. He’s worked in 50+ countries and in all 50 states. He conceived of (and produced) the biggest episode ever on Extreme Makeover: Home Edition that brought 13,000 volunteers together to build 7 houses over 7 days in Joplin, MO. He’s survived hippo attacks, elephant charges, guano-filled bat caves, and one presidential interview.
It’s safe to say: There’s no limit to the stories Brady can (and is willing to) share.
From the early beginnings of reality TV with Rescue 911, to today’s cornucopia of unscripted content across all platforms, Brady has been in the trenches during the entire explosion of non-fiction content. Now, he enjoys using both his professional and personal experiences to inspire storytellers of all ages who want to make the most of the media-rich world we live in.
Brady has taught “Direct and Produce Reality and Documentary Television” at UCLA Extension for many years, and is a regular guest lecturer for “Narrative of Non-Scripted Television” at UCLA School of Communications. He has served as a speaker or panelist at events such as RealScreen in Washington D.C. (non-fiction virtual reality), Westdoc in Los Angeles (reality television), Impact Media Summit in Washington D.C. (social responsibility in media) as has served as a keynote speaker at corporate retreats and non-profit fundraisers.
From organized, thought-provoking short presentations to full seminars at universities, organizations, or online outlets, Brady is available for a limited number of speaking, moderating, and teaching engagements per year.
